Give up the comfort of your own bed for one night to provide vulnerable young people in Blackpool with a brighter future
The BIG SleepOut sponsored by Beaverbrooks the Jewellers will be on Friday 4th April 2025. This is our 10th annual fundraiser, and we need your help to make it the BIGGEST BIG SLEEPOUT yet!
Each year a whole host of amazing people take their sleeping bag to the cobbles of St Johns Square to create awareness about youth homelessness and raise sponsorship to keep our vital
service running.
When Streetlife was registered as a charity 40 years ago it was hoped to be a short-term solution, and four decades later young people need our support more than ever. Last year we provided a lifeline to over 300 of our community’s most vulnerable individuals at our emergency 8 bed night shelter and day centre. We can only continue to do this with your help.
Registrations will open November 1st. 2024
Registration costs £10 and you will receive a wristband, souvenir and survival pack. The amazing Sleepout team will be on hand all night with hot beverages and support, along with the use of the toilets at St Johns Church.
You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and any waterproof covering you may wish to use e.g. bin bags, plastic sheeting, umbrellas, waterproof clothing etc. You may also wish to bring snacks to eat. Roll mats are advised, please avoid bringing cardboard. We encourage each participant to aim to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship (and more if you are able), so that more young people can receive support. Thank you.
