COVID-19 Response
Streetlife’s response to COVID-19
We will be temporarily closing the night shelter and day centre following instructions from the government in relation to the operation of night shelters during the coronavirus lockdown.
Young people will be allocated B+B accommodation by Housing Options or EDT. This will ensure they have a safe place to self-isolate should they need too. They will also be able to stay indoors and social distance. These are things they can’t do at Streetlife as the majority of our facilities are communal.
We will be keeping in contact with young people by telephone during this time. They can also contact us through our Facebook page.
The contact numbers are:-Housing options no. 01253 477760EDT no. 01253477600
We will keep you updated as and when the situation changes. Thank you for your understanding and support.
We are currently not recruiting new local volunteers but will continue to work with our current volunteers
We are reducing the type of physical donations we can accept. We will not be able to accept clothing, bedding or furniture. However, we are in need of food and toiletries.
